Description

I made this drawing for :iconkutty-sark: and :iconenijoi:'s contest.
I must say I am not satisfied with how any means I had at hand picked up the colours. This one has nice shades and greens another one is good on details, a third is much lighter...etc, but I decided to go with this oe, so I hope they like it.
I choose spring, or better late spring as my theme for the piece. Amber's outfit is inspired by this: drawing:[link] , Alvis' is a mix of her winter clothes-desing [link] and this: [link] (partially)

Nice pastoral... The background colours are warm and vibrant, and your interpretation of their outfit stylings is conventional yet stylish (Best job with Alvis and her ensemble mix of short denim, layered stockings & working her style into warm separated violet sleeves and a firm tanktop with touches of intricate trim. *so want and this is coming from a bloke XD*). Also delicate linework with balanced details for facial & body features help the colours to breathe and in tirun evokes in tandem with these unique fashion of the pair the art-styles & techniques used in 80s Animation (i.e. [link] [link] ) with a new twist. Love it! :heart:
